About Accelerate Futsal...

Accelerate Futsal is focused on junior Futsal development in the ACT and NSW from discovery phase (4-8), grassroots (8-10) to youth (10-18) age groups. Our experience extends beyond grassroots and school programs to youth and premier league club-based Futsal programs. We deliver a holistic approach to Futsal by developing fundamental techniques and boosting self-esteem, confidence and social skills while enabling young footballers to keep fit and active. We are confident in our ability to deliver effective results of player engagement and have a strong passion for working with children, teachers and parents.

Grant Davoren

Accelerate Futsal Director
  • Grant has an extensive playing and coaching background in both Football and Futsal at local NPL, Capital Futsal League and State level.

  • Grant’s formal coaching qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education
  • AFC Futsal Coaching Level 1 Licence
  • FFA/AFC B Coaching Licence
  • FFA/AFC C Youth and Senior Coaching Licence in Football
  • FFA Futsal Level 1 Licence
  • United Futsal University Foundation Diploma
  • Certificate III in Sports Coaching
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Alex Freeman

Accelerate Futsal Director
  • Alex’s background in football started as a player turned coach. He has previously represented ACT and Australia in Futsal as a junior and Canberra FC and Canberra Olympic Football Clubs.
