About Accelerate Futsal...

Accelerate Futsal is focused on junior Futsal development in the ACT and NSW from the discovery phase (5-8), grassroots (8-10), to youth (10-18) age groups. Our experience extends beyond grassroots and school programs to youth and Premier League club-based Futsal programs. We deliver a holistic approach to Futsal by developing fundamental techniques and boosting self-esteem, confidence and social skills while enabling young futsal players to keep fit and active. We are confident in our ability to deliver effective results of player engagement and have a strong passion for working with children, teachers and parents.

Grant Davoren

Accelerate Futsal Director
  • Grant has an extensive playing and coaching background in both Football and Futsal at Capital Football NPL, CFL, NSW Premier League 1 and State level. Grant is the current Capital Football Futsal Men's head coach, previously coaching Youth Men, Youth Women and U14 Boys.

  • Grant’s formal coaching qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education
  • AFC Futsal Coaching Level 2 Licence
  • AFC Futsal Coaching Level 1 Licence
  • FFA/AFC B Coaching Licence
  • FFA/AFC C Youth and Senior Coaching Licence in Football
  • FFA Futsal Level 1 Licence
  • United Futsal University Foundation Diploma
  • Certificate III in Sports Coaching
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Usman Amir

Accelerate Futsal Head Coach
  • Usman has a coaching background in both Football and Futsal at Capital Football NPL, JCFL and State level. Usman is one of our lead program coaches overseeing our Mini A's and Accelerate Futsal Academy Program. Usman has also previously coached Capital Football's U14 Boys at the FA Futsal National level.

  • FFA/AFC C Coaching Licence in Football
  • FFA Futsal Level 1 Licence
  • United Futsal University Foundation Diploma
